Design + Planning Application
Stage 3

We guide you through every step of the planning process, from concept to completion. We refine your ideas with design sketches, imagery, and mood boards, transforming them into detailed planning drawings.

We assist in selecting the right application type, ensuring compliance with local authority requirements and securing necessary consents, such as listed building or conservation area approvals. If needed we coordinate with consultants to ensure a smooth, compliant planning process.
Building Regulations +Technical Design, Stage 4-5
Preparing for construction requires meticulous planning and adherence to building regulations. With experience in the UK and Finland, we design energy-efficient buildings that exceed UK heat loss and ventilation standards.
We provide detailed technical drawings, including construction sections and a "Schedule of Works" specifying materials and methods. If structural calculations are needed, we can engage and coordinate with a structural engineer and other consultants as required.
Contract Administration
Stage 5-7 ​
Choosing the appropriate form of contract is essential in determining how your project will be delivered. The best procurement path and contract type can be identified by fully understanding the complexity of the project, which is something we, as architects, excel in. The choice of procurement path affects how the project is managed, and options range from design and build to management contracting, as well as the traditional route that utilises contracts provided by RIBA, JCT, and NEC. By working together, we can strike a balance between time, cost, and quality by selecting the right contract for your project. Our expertise allows us to guide you through this process and ensure that your project is delivered to the highest standard.
